CAMBADOS: THE “CAPITAL OF ALBARIÑO”
It is the reference town not only of the D.O. Rías Baixas but also of the Albariño wine. The wine culture is evident in every corner of this charming coastal town where its historic buildings, pazos, wineries and restaurants stand out.
In fact, Cambados is the wine tourism capital of the Rías Baixas and was the European Wine Capital in 2017. In addition, its Wine Festival, celebrated during the month of August, is the oldest wine festival in Galicia, the second oldest in Spain and is considered a Festival of National Tourist Interest. It also has a wine museum.
Therefore, if you want to know the essence of the D.O. Rías Baixas and visit Albariño wineries, Cambados is the main and ideal place to do it.
O GROVE & SANXENXO: WINE TOURISM NEAR BOSQUE MAR
The area where our hotel is located also has good vineyard extensions and several wineries for wine tourism in the Rías Baixas.

O Grove and neighboring Sanxenxo are the most likely to host in terms of gastronomic offer, making it the perfect place to combine the gastronomy of the estuary with the exquisite Albariño wine.
RIBADUMIA & BARRANTES
Also located very close to Cambados, these two inland towns are less touristy, but at the same time they are next to the main tourist towns of Galicia.

VILAGARCÍA, VILANOVA DE AROUSA AND MEISO: WINE TOURISM, PAZOS AND TRADITIONAL CULTURE
These towns near Cambados, located north of the capital of wine tourism, are also tourist areas where you can do wine tourism in Las Rías Baixas.
In fact, here are two of the most recommended “pazos” to visit, places with historic buildings that also house wineries and gardens of great beauty. MARTÍN CODAX
27 minutes from Bosque Mar
Located in Cambados, Martín Codax is one of the most international and renowned Albariño wines. Here you can visit one of the great wineries of the Rías Baixas, seeing their vineyards, visiting their facilities, knowing their production processes and ending with a tasting of their wines.
PAZO DE RUBIANES
35 minutes from Bosque Mar
This historic place is much more than a winery, it is a part of the history of Galicia and the Rías Baixas. Apart from visiting its Albariño winery, you will visit the Pazo, discovering its botanical wonders (especially the camellias) along the route through its well-tended gardens.

ADEGA EIDOS
17 minutes from Bosque Mar
This family-owned Albariño winery is located in Sanxenxo. In the visit to Adega Eidos they will show you their wine making processes or how they care for and plant their vineyards, all in combination with the environment, culture and gastronomy of the area.

PAZO SEÑORANS
30 minutes from Bosque Mar
This old 16th century “pazo” converted into an Albariño winery perfectly blends the tradition and architecture of a Galician farmhouse with the culture and wine production of the Rías Baixas.
In the visit you could see its vineyards and its cellar, ending as always with a tasting of its exquisite wines in a place surrounded by gardens that will make the visit even more charming.
LAGAR DE PINTOS
27 minutes from Bosque Mar
This winery is located in Ribadumia. Several generations have made this winery of Albariño another of the best known in the area. The tradition combined with the most modern techniques of wine production are the hallmarks of Lagar de Pintos.
Here you can visit, as in the rest of the wineries, its extension of vineyards and its winery, before finishing with the tasting of its wines.
GRAN BAZAN
27 minutes de Bosque Mar
Located in Vilanoviña, it is one of the classics with the longest history, one of the first to produce internationally recognized high quality wines. Also available with a guide and different tasting options, a good choice for wine tourism in Las Rías Baixas.
